Workshops and Book Readings

Suzi is available for the following workshops/sessions:

BOOK READING + WORKSHOP

Book reading of My Daddy is Different followed by a range of activities that extend the themes of the book: mental illness/love and connection/supporting loved ones through difficult times.

Suitable for pre-school through to Year 4.

CLASSROOM VISITS

Suzi is a qualified Early Childhood Teacher and is happy to facilitate a classroom visit for primary school aged children. She can discuss the themes of the book which fits in with parts of the English and Health Curriculum. Suzi speaks from personal experience and from the heart, which will be beneficial for children who may be having difficulty accepting or adjusting to having a loved one with a mental illness.

These sessions are flexible and can be adjusted to suit your particular group and their needs.

Areas that Suzi can visit include schools in Bunbury and surrounding suburbs.
